Using the Mobile Home Charger Type 2 Mennekes from EU socket - 16A - Phase 1, you can charge your electric car with a Type 2 (Mennekes) plug from a standard EU socket (220-240V).
Using the control unit, you can set the charging speed to different levels (8A/10A/13A/16A). 16A will give you the fastest charging (3.7 kW). The last set charging speed is saved, so you don't have to set it again each time.

The advantage of setting the charging speed is that you can ensure that you put less strain on the power grid at home. This means you don't need expensive modifications to your meter cupboard.
